Bus Registration, August 8th & 10th!

UCISD Transportation employees will be at Walmart on Tuesday, the 8th and Thursday, the 10th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. If you need to register your children for transportation please stop by and fill out a registration form. You can also stop by the Transportation Department or your child's campus and fill out a registration form there. There are some slight changes this year so all bus riders must register, even if they rode last year.

Annual Community-Wide Wellness Fair will be held on August 18th!

UCISD Announces Georgina Perez, District 1 State Board of Education Member as Guest for 2017 Convocation!

District 1 State Board of Education member Georgina Perez will be in Uvalde C.I.S.D. on Thursday, August 10th. She will be attending the back to school The Heart of Education...Lies Within Me Convocation. Perez will have the opportunity to interact with all district staff, enjoy student performances and help kick off the 2017-2018 school year!

District one is an expansive area covering from Uvalde to El Paso, Texas. The Uvalde District is honored to have Ms. Perez spend time getting to know our Uvalde C.I.S.D. Staff!

Does your U.C.I.S.D. student need a bus ride?

If your student is currently enrolled with Uvalde C.I.S.D. and they need to ride the school bus, please see the registrar at your student's campus or stop by the Transportation Office (1009 N. Camp) to fill out a bus registration form by August 11th. There are some slight changes this year so all bus riders must register, even if they rode last year. Stop times and locations will be available starting August 14th. If you have any questions please call the Transportation Office at 830-333-7003.

ACE Registration is Now Open!

ACE Registration for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year is now open. Starting Tuesday, September 5th, your child will be able to attend at his/her own campus absolutely free and participate in activities such as homework assistance, art, music, photography, film making, dance, and more. In addition, parents are invited to participate in classes, workshops, and events!

Registration Dates

Dalton Elementary will be having Pre-k and Kindergarten registration starting April 5th and every Wednesday in April from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Child care will and snacks will also be provided for students as parents go through the registration process. 
"Future Coyote" shirts will be given to the first 20 parents who register for each session we have in April. Parents will also have the opportunity to purchase the shirts for $6.00 at registration.

April 5th

April 19th
April 26th
The following documents must be current and on hand at the time of registration for Pre-K and Kinder students:
-Child's Birth Certificate
-Child's Social Security Card
-Child's Immunization Record (ALL 4 yr old students must have shots up to date)
-Proof of Residency (preferable a utility bill stating service at address)
-Income for Pre-K (3 current pay stubs for all employed in your family)
-Driver's License
-Legal Documents (if applicable) 
-Divorce Decree
-Power of Attorney
-Child Safety and Evaluation Plan (CPS)
